Now that the children and grandchildren have gone back to their own homes may i take a moment to reflect.
My two favorite holidays are Fathers' Day and Mothers' Day.
To see and be with my children, now adults, is a joy and brings me more happiness than i could hope for.
To see and be with my grandchildren and enjoy their own tribute to their Father, my own sibling, is so wonderful.
To listen and hear stories about my days as a younger Father is amazing. They did not forget.
To have earned the respect of my own family as an aging head of the family is more valuable to me than gold.
Today was truly a Father's Day for Dads.
To all the Dads. Happy Fathers Day.
