St. Mary's Visitation Students Showcase their Public Speaking Skills in Forensics
It's Elementary Forensics Time at SMV!
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are invited to participate in Elementary Forensics Fest on Thursday, March 14, 9:30-1:30 pm. This special daytime in-house forensics meet will include two rounds of forensics presentations, followed by an ice cream social after lunch. Forensics Fest promises to be a FUN introduction to our award winning forensics program. SMV is one of the only schools in the area with an elementary level forensics program.

Third Grade Literature Circles
The third graders are working on a two-week literature circle unit. Students are reading a novel and doing various comprehension activities such as sequencing, summarizing, characterization, making predictions, etc. In addition, students are working on a persuasive commercial and they will perform their commercial for the class.
