For more than 75 years, Easter Seals Southeast WI has been offering help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities, and to the families who love them. Through therapy, training, education and support services, Easter Seals creates life-changing solutions so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work and play.
It seems amazing, but our country has deployed troops around the world in the "War on Terror" since late 2001. These men and women have faced multiple tours of duty, separation from children and spouses for extended periods and faced the horrors of war. Now, coming home they need our help, our support and a connection to the future. Our former military members need a job that supports their family and a community that paves the way for their success.
Easter Seals is proud to be part of this effort. Locally, we work with Veteran's groups like DryHootch to connect caring communities with our returning heroes. On May 19th from 11:30am-1:00pm, Easter Seals and DryHootch are hosting a Job Fair at Steinhafel's Community Room in Waukesha. Local employers will be there to interview and hire military members seeking an opportunity. To learn more: www.facebook.com/events/469801263153452/
