Kyle and her husband moved to Brookfield in 1986. She became active in local politics and started blogging in 2004. Her focus is primarily on local issues but often includes state and national topics, too. Kyle looks at things from the taxpayers' perspective in a creative, yet down to earth way, addressing them from a practical point of view.
I slept in this morning. Ahhh :) Knowing the snow was coming and we had some DVDs that must go back to the Elm Grove Library, I was about to throw on some boots and zip over there before the roads got too terrible.
But the phone rang and I got a reprieve: an offer from someone I know who was out and about. They would return them for me.
This person lives on the east side of Milwaukee and gave me their unofficial Interstate road report: I-43 and I-94 ARE BAD!
It did not seem they had plowed or thrown any salt down at all at around 9am.
If you are going to Good Friday services today, check with your church first to see if there are services. Some already have canceled. I checked mine, they have not made that decision yet. This year my church is offering an additional performance of their Easter Musical Cantata tomorrow at 5pm, so even if they cancel, at least I can catch that. (Or watch virtually.)
