Practically Speaking
Kyle and her husband moved to Brookfield in 1986. She became active in local politics and started blogging in 2004. Her focus is primarily on local issues but often includes state and national topics, too. Kyle looks at things from the taxpayers' perspective in a creative, yet down to earth way, addressing them from a practical point of view.
e-Harmony bullied into submission

Kyle,
eHarmony, the Christian-based dating service that attracts millions
of singles and inspires hundreds of marriages every day, has been
forced to launch a dating service for homosexuals. The New Jersey
Attorney General’s office initiated the action against eHarmony
based on a complaint from an openly gay man who filed a “discrimination”
complaint.
Anti-Christian bigotry on the rise… and the worst is yet to come
In today’s politically correct environment, it seems that the only
group is it acceptable to discriminate against is Christians! In New
Mexico, a photographer was fined thousands of dollars for refusing
to photograph a lesbian commitment ceremony for religious reasons.
And just a few months ago in California, the courts ruled against
two Christian doctors who refused to artificially inseminate a
lesbian. It is clear that the anti-faith forces will use
“discrimination” laws to censor Christians and the worst is yet to
come.
President-elect Obama and his team are gearing up to fast-track the
most liberal, politically correct administration in history. Obama
has already pledged his full support for the radical homosexual
rights agenda, which is being used against eHarmony and others. We
are bracing for a climate of open hostility against Chrstians in
business, health care, education… virtually every profession.
Help Dr. Dobson and Focus on the Family Action stand up to the
anti-faith censors!
Kyle, Dr. Dobson launched Focus Action to give the
millions of Focus on the Family friends a stronger voice in these
crucial debates. Now, we are gearing up for the greatest fight we
have ever faced – to stop the censorship of our faith through so-called “anti-discrimination” and
“hate crimes” laws.
Will you prayerfully consider making a special gift right now to Focus on the Family Action
so we can fight these attacks against people of faith and continue our other vital efforts?

It just happened to eHarmony. We can continue to expect rights of
conscience and religious beliefs to be trampled in the days to come. Christian teachers could be next. Or
Christian doctors, nurses and pharmacists. Or Christian schools. Or
even your church or this ministry.
Please help us get ready for the battle of our lifetimes. Thank you
in advance for your prayers and support as we strive together to
defend our faith and families.
