Pasta from Within
I've always bought "Spaghetti," those noodles long and thin.
Today, I'm starting over:
I'm shopping from within.
Long and thin is not my style; I'm short and somewhat wide.
"Mostaccioli" mirrors me;
And doesn't hurt my pride.
How about "Fusilli," when I'm feeling funny.
In summer, I'll buy little "Shells,"
(The beach just sounds so sunny).
"Rotelle," (wheels) for on the go; "Rotini," when life's twisting.
"Bow ties" for the formal nights;
This change, I'm not resisting.
With new pasta choices, heartfelt meals, will be created.
For now, "Spaghetti's" out the door:
That long and thin, is overrated.
