Elizabeth Perry and Andrew Wallace of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada, were married July 22, 2011, at the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners.
Parents of the bride are Chuck and Suzanne Perry of Elm Grove. The groom's parents are Trish Wallace and Bryan Wallace, both of Devon in Alberta, Canada.
The Rev. Peter Verhulst officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the gardens.
The bride wore a vintage lace dress with an open key-hole back, and she carried an array of bright flowers.
Anne Perry of Elm Grove, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Kratzer and Shelly Dooyema of Brookfield and Gloria Ekkert of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. The flower girls were triplets Emily, Addison and Hailey Dooyema of Brookfield.
Wesley DeWit of Edmonton, best friend of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Versteeg, James Knight and Tyler Hoeksema of Edmonton.
The bride is studying in culinary school at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. She is a cook at The Nest Bar and Grill in Edmonton.
The groom is studying secondary and physical education at the University of Alberta. He is a recreation facilitator for the campus recreation department.
The couple planned a honeymoon to the Turks and Caicos for seven days, then Haiti for nine days.
The two met while living in New Zealand and maintained a long-distance relationship after returning to Wisconsin and Alberta. It was during this time that they became engaged.
