City of Brookfield


1Three vehicles parked at Elite Sports Club, 13825 W. Burleigh Road, were broken into sometime before 6 p.m. Jan. 17. A purse and personal items were taken from one of the vehicles.

2A Global Positioning System unit and personal items were taken Jan. 18 from an unlocked car parked at Symmetry Salon, 15770 W. Capitol Drive.

3A woman in the 2100 block of North 166th Street reported at 6:35 p.m. Jan. 19 that her daughter had taken a diamond ring valued at $2,400 from her home and pawned it.

4Numerous vehicles parked at Sluggos, 12760 W. Burleigh Road, were broken into sometime before 7:50 p.m. Jan. 21. Among items taken from the vehicles was a laptop computer.

5A 27-year-old Milwaukee woman took $532 in Green Bay Packers merchandise from J.C. Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 1:23 p.m. Jan. 22. She was cited for retail theft.


6A 41-year-old Brookfield man was cited for drunken driving at 8:44 p.m. Jan. 17 on Blue Mound Road at Calhoun Road. He was stopped for lane deviation after a citizen reported that he was driving drunk. He was taken to a hospital for a blood draw. He was also cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle.

7A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving at 4:42 p.m. Jan. 21 on North Avenue at 124th Street. He was stopped for running two red lights. He was taken to a hospital for a blood draw. He was also cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle and operating without a valid driver's license.


8A woman in the 13000 block of Keefe Avenue reported at 4:57 p.m. Jan. 17 that she had received harassing phone calls and text messages from an unknown man. One of the text messages contained a photo of his genitals. The man was told to leave the woman alone.

9A man plowing snow in the 15000 block of Capitol Drive hit a city fire hydrant with his plow at 9:13 p.m. Jan. 17. The hydrant snapped off but no water was released. The Department of Public Works was contacted.

10Police questioned a 13-year-old student of Pilgrim Park Middle School, 15905 Sky Cliff Drive, at 3:31 p.m. Jan. 18 after a school official reported overhearing the boy talking about explosives. The boy was talking about using explosives in a video game.

11A 16-year-old Brookfield boy reported at 4:58 p.m. Jan. 19 that a group of acquaintances had blocked his driveway in the 2500 block of Lilly Road and kicked him and his truck, causing damage.

12A couple in the 500 block of Adelman Court reported at 12:02 p.m. Jan. 20 that they had paid an online seller $250 for software to learn Spanish, but the software did not work.

13An employee of Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, punched another employee of the store at 10:47 a.m. Jan. 21.

14A woman in the 800 block of 124th Street reported that her ex-boyfriend had set up a Facebook account in her name and was contacting her friends to establish her whereabouts. The man was told to stop.

15A 15-year-old Brookfield boy was cited for disorderly conduct and curfew violation at 2:42 a.m. Jan. 22. The boy was riding a bike in the area of Capitol Drive and 124th Street with no lights or reflectors and fled when an officer stopped to tell him he was difficult to see. The boy threw the bike in a Dumpster and ran to his home in 4600 block of 149th Street. Officers followed his tracks in the snow.

16Two vehicles parked at Elite Racquet Ball Club, 600 N. Barker Road, were broken into sometime before 7:50 p.m. Jan. 17. Windows were smashed to gain entry. Property valued at $427 was taken from one of the vehicles, and property valued at $517 was taken from the other vehicle.


17A 24-year-old Waukesha man was cited for drunken driving at 2:13 a.m. Jan. 14 in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 21195 E. Moreland Blvd. His car became disabled when he struck two concrete barriers. His BAC was 0.15.

18A 35-year-old Muskego woman was cited for driving under the influence of prescription medications at 12:04 a.m. Jan. 19 on Interstate 94 at Barker Road. She was stopped for lane deviation. She was taken to a hospital for a blood draw.

Village of Elm Grove


19A woman in the 12000 block of Wrayburn Road was warned for disorderly conduct at 12:19 p.m. Jan. 18 after throwing dog feces into a neighbor's yard.

20A 13-year-old Brookfield boy was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after striking an 11-year-old boy in the face with his hand and a belt while they were aboard a school bus in the 13000 block of Juneau Boulevard at 4:46 p.m. Jan. 19.
