BURGLARY

1About 10 bottles of wine and champagne were taken from a locked garage in the 16300 block of Onondaga Circle either May 13 or May 14. It is unknown how the thief gained access.

2About 25 batteries were taken from lawn tractors in a fenced outdoor yard in the 12500 block of Wirth Street at 7:30 a.m. May 14. The fence was cut to gain access. Loss is estimated at $2,000.

3A lock box containing several sets of keys was taken from Line-X, 4025 N. 124th St., between noon May 18 and 1 p.m. May 19. The incident was reported at 1:24 p.m. May 19. A rock was used to break a window.

THEFT

4A laptop worth $400 was taken from a computer lab at Herzing University, 555 S. Executive Drive, between 9 and 9:30 a.m. May 14.

5A man stole $74 worth of groceries from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 5:15 p.m. May 14. The man was seen leaving in a red pickup truck.

6A man took two power drills and ran from Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, at 6:20 p.m. May 14.

7A check was removed from a birthday card in a mailbox in the 19100 block of Ashbourne Lane at 4:10 p.m. May 15. Two opened envelopes were found in the mailbox.

8A wallet containing $227, credit cards, a driver's license and checkbook was taken from a purse at Piggy Wiggly, 2315 N. 124th St., at 5 p.m. May 15.

9Medical equipment and electronic tablets were taken from a locked car at Mr. B's Steakhouse, 18380 W. Capitol Drive, between 6 and 9:45 p.m. May 16. Loss is estimated at $3,500. Windows were broken to gain access.

10A laptop and computer accessories were taken from a locked car at Mr. B's Steakhouse, 18380 W. Capitol Drive, between 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. May 16. Loss is estimated at $1,650. A window was broken to gain access.

11A purse containing a wallet and checkbook was taken from a locked car at Walgreens, 15738 W. Capitol Drive, between 8:15 and 10 p.m. May 16. A passenger-side window was broken to gain access.

12A purse was taken from a locked car at Saloon on Calhoun, 17000 W. Capitol Drive, between 8:30 and 9:50 p.m. May 16. Windows were broken to gain access.

13A 53-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 2:53 p.m. May 17. The value of the items was not available.

14A 13-year-old boy was cited for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 15170 W. Greenfield Ave., at 5:39 p.m. May 17. The value of the items was not available.

15A wallet with three credit cards was taken from a car in the 14800 block of West Lisbon Road on May 17.

16Tires were taken from a car in the 18900 block of West Capitol Drive overnight May 17. Loss is estimated at worth $4,300.

17A loaded gun was taken from an unlocked truck in the 4600 block of Meadow View East either May 17 or May 18.

18A wallet containing credit cards and cash was taken from a stock room at Pier 1 Imports, 17000 W. Bluemound Road, at 12:07 p.m. May 18.

19A 23-year-old man was cited for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 6:44 p.m. May 18. The value of the items was not available.

20A seated trellis worth $500 was taken from a yard in the 4200 block of Penn Court on May 18.

21A pack of Cinnabons worth $13 was taken from Cinnabon at Brookfield Square Mall, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 10:52 a.m. May 19.

OTHER

22Five students were given warnings by police and received school sanctions for harassing other students in school and on social media at Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, at 9:30 a.m. May 17.

23An unidentified man and woman were seen on surveillance video taking $800 worth of liquor from Sam's Club, 600 Springdale Road, at 1:14 p.m. May 10 and 1:11 p.m. May 11.

24A person was arrested for drunken driving in the 13200 block of Watertown Plank Road at 11:45 p.m. May 16.

25A man was arrested for drunken driving at Bluemound and Sunnyslope roads at 12:14 a.m. May 19. His BAC was 0.14.

DRUG POSSESSION

26A man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1200 block of Legion Drive at 9:58 p.m. May 16.

27Two men were arrested for possession of marijuana in the 600 block of Elm Grove Road at 10:25 p.m. May 17.

OTHER

28A man was arrested for forgery after he attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill at Culver's, 15280 W. Bluemound Road, at 6:58 p.m. May 19.
