CITY OF BROOKFIELD

Theft

1Numerous items valued at approximately $400 were stolen by two subjects from Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, at approximately 1:38 p.m. on July 21.

2Four purses valued at approximately $100 were stolen by a female subject from Shoppers World of Brookfield, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at approximately 9:23 p.m. on July 21.

3An 18-year-old female subject was arrested for retail theft after removing sensors from merchandise at Shoppers World of Brookfield, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 1:53 p.m. on July 23.

4An iPad valued at $600 was stolen from AT&T, 95 N. Moorland Road, at approximately 4:08 p.m. on July 23.

5An 18-year-old female employee of CVS Pharmacy, 17165 W. Bluemound Road, was arrested for theft on July 23 after allowing someone $3,200 in free gift cards.

6A 23-year-old male subject and a 23-year-old female subject were arrested for retail theft after removing merchandise and leaving Pick 'n Save, 17295 W. Capitol Drive, without paying at around 6:15 p.m. on July 23.

7Jewelry valued between $1,500 and $2,000, and $7 in cash, were taken from a vehicle parked at W. Bluemound Road and N. Moorland Road sometime between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on July 23. The complainant believed that she had locked her doors; however, upon returning to her vehicle, found the rear, driver-side door ajar.

8An iPhone was stolen from the girls locker room at Wildcard Gymnastics, 3545 N. 127th St., between 5 and 8:30 p.m. on July 23. Using GPA, the phone was later recovered at 3291 N. 9th St. in Milwaukee. The owner does not wish to prosecute.

Other

9A large amount of blood was found in the men's bathroom at Sports Authority, 16220 W. Bluemound Road, at 11:08 a.m. on July 22. It is believed that a suspect was attempting to remove a sensor from a USA soccer jersey in the bathroom with a multi-tool and accidentally cut himself. Afterward, he discarded the tool and jersey in the bathroom garbage and left.

Impaired driving

10A 33-year-old female subject was arrested for drunken driving in the 20800 block of Watertown Road at 2:13 a.m. on July 18.

11A 32-year-old male subject was arrested for drunken driving at W. Bluemound Road and N. Janacek Road at 5 p.m. on July 20.

VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE

Theft

12A purse, wallet, Social Security card, and health insurance card with a total estimated value of $50 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 15100 block of Watertown Plank Road sometime between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on July 25.

Impaired driving

13A male subject was arrested for drunken driving in the 1200 block of Pilgrim Parkway at 2:15 a.m. on July 27.
