Brookfield and Elm Grove Police Report: Sept. 4

CITY OF BROOKFIELD

Theft

1Approximately $5,000 worth of steel guide rods and shafts were stolen between 5 p.m. Aug. 22 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 25 from Lifetime Door Company, 12645 Townsend St.

2An iPod is missing after a customer left it to be fixed at a Talk N Fix, a kiosk at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, on Aug. 7. The business has not since been at the mall and the iPod was never returned. Mall management provided the complainant with contact information for the parent company.

3A laptop, an iPad, and a bookbag containing textbooks and school supplies were taken from a vehicle parked at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, sometime before 8:02 p.m. on Aug. 25. The rear, passenger-side window had been broken.

4A Samsung tablet valued at $624.99 was stolen from AT&T, 17365 W. Bluemound Road, sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 26.

5Two iPhones and one Samsung Galaxy phone were taken from AT&T, 3825 N. 124th St., around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 27.

6A male was arrested for retail theft after attempting to steal $718.88 worth of merchandise from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, around 6 p.m. on Aug. 27.

7A gym bag containing a wallet, credit cards, keys, driver's license, and clothing was taken from a locker at Xperience Fitness, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, sometime between 4:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 28. The locker had been locked but the lock was cut.

8A female subject was arrested for retail theft after concealing $399 worth of merchandise and leaving JC Penney, 95 N. Moorland Road, without paying at 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 30.

9Power tools with a total value of $618.96 were stolen from Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, at approximately 2:24 p.m. on Aug. 31.

Drug possession

10A 29 year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana in the 3600 block of N. Lilly Road after police were called to respond to a domestic disturbance on Aug. 26. The man had threatened the complainant's sister because she would not marry him.

Vandalism

11A number of cars were vandalized using a paint pen in the 15100 block of Carpenter Road during the night of Aug. 26 or early morning hours of Aug. 27.

Other

12ADT Security Services, 200 N. Patrick Blvd. was locked down for part of the afternoon of Aug. 28 due to a male making threats to harm his former boss at ADT. The subject was later at Rogers Memorial Hospital in West Allis where police responded to evaluate him.

Impaired driving

13A 30 year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Highland Pass and Greenridge Terrace at 6:06 p.m. on Aug. 23.

VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE

Drug possession

14A female was cited for possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct after she refused to leave UPS, 12400 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:10 p.m. on Aug. 27 after having had her employment terminated. The subject was originally arrested for disorderly conduct and the marijuana was found later.

Impaired driving

15A subject was arrested for drunken driving at 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 25 at Highland Drive and Westover Road.
