Oh yes, it's Ladies Night

It was Ladies Night Out at Westmoor Country Club when the Elmbrook Education Foundation held this event for the sixth year. The organization was founded in 1958 by a group of community volunteers who wanted to reinforce a value for continuing education. This has grown into a communitywide scholarship program.

The mission of EEF was expanded in 1999 to provide educational grants to help innovative staff members and students implement and share ideas that enhance the education of Elmbrook students. In 2008 a new "super grant" program was developed to fund larger projects that fall outside the district's operating budget. In 2009, the foundation started a new endowment fund within the Waukesha County Community Foundation to help the EEF sustain its programs into the future.

The EEF Board of Directors is Dorothy Smaglick, David Frank, Jeanne Allen, Rachel Lyon, Laura Schmidt, Brian Kilb, Ann Rieger, Megan Susko, Jennifer Morales, Cheryl Milnes, Stacy Swadish Kosmatka, Scott Botcher and Connie Menchal.

Susko, Milnes, Shelley Botchek, Schmidt, Morales, Lyon, Ginny Myszewski, Evon Creger, Sue Stief, Sue Amato, Jill Duckett, Smaglick and Swadish Kosmatka planned the Ladies Night Out.
