Walk in Time project to be dedicated next month

The Elm Grove Community Foundation has completed its "Walk in Time" initiative begun in 2006 and will hold a dedication ceremony at 6 p.m. June 22 in Village Park, 13600 Juneau Blvd., prior to the first Tunes on Tuesday concert of the summer at 6:30 p.m.

The "Walk in Time" project highlights key elements in the history of Elm Grove through bronze informational plagues on large boulders unearthed during the flood management project. Fourteen boulders each dedicated to a different historic topic are placed near the path that encompasses the pond at Village Park.

During the dedication ceremony, the commemorative plague listing all the projects donors will be unveiled. Refreshments also will be available.
