Only a few flooding, sewer backup incidents reported during storm
Elm Grove police received just six calls of flooded homes in the aftermath of Thursday night's storm, Police Chief Jim Gage said today.
Gage said there were no injuries or accidents reported, however.
Three homeowners reported sewer backups, and three homeowners said surface water caused flooding in their homes. Gage said there was some flooding of streets, but that subsided about four to six hours after the rain stopped.
Bluemound Road was closed for a brief period during the storm, and Pilgrim Parkway north of Bluemound remained closed as of 2:05 p.m. today, Gage said.
