Postal transition goes off without a hitch
Issue: A reader wants to know how the postal reorganization will affect Brookfield. He heard that the central forwarding system would be moved from Milwaukee to Brookfield. He wants to know if this transition will bring more employees to the Brookfield office and, if so, how will that affect traffic and parking.
Status: Sean Hargadon, spokesman for the U.S. Postal Service, said the central forwarding system already has moved to the Brookfield office and the transition was seamless. He said there is plenty of parking and traffic has not been an issue.
