CITY OF BROOKFIELD

Robbery

1Approximately $100 was taken by a male claiming to have a gun at Open Pantry Food Mart, 17235 W. Bluemound Road, around 5:19 p.m. July 16. The subject stated that if police arrived within 10 minutes he would return and shoot someone.

Theft

2A purse containing credit cards was stolen from the kitchen area of the American Legion, 3245 N. 124th St., at around 5:30 p.m. on July 14. Fraudulent charges were made on two credit cards.

3An iPod was stolen from an unlocked car at a residence in the 4000 block of N. 133rd St. sometime between 5 p.m. July 14 and 7:35 a.m. July 15.

4A Buick Century was stolen from a residence in the 1900 block of Beaver Lane between 1 and 8 a.m. July 15. The vehicle's license plates read 496-LQM and the vehicle also had a bike rack containing a Trek mountain bike. The vehicle's keys had been left inside.

5A camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4100 block of Lilly Road sometime between 8 a.m. July 14 and 9 a.m. July 15.

6A 31-year-old woman was arrested for stealing two vacuum cleaners valued at $1,159.98 from Kohl's, 2315 N. 124th St., at 12:06 p.m. July 15. She is believed to have been involved in a related incident at Kohl's.

7A laptop, iPhone 4, backpack, and other electronics were stolen from a vehicle parked at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, sometime shortly after 11 a.m. July 16. The front-passenger side window had been broken.

8Two mixers valued at a total of $849.98 were stolen from Bed Bath & Beyond, 605 Main St. at approximately 1:16 p.m. on July 16.

9Over $200 worth of merchandise was taken from Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, by a female at approximately 8:43 p.m. July 16.

10An iPhone 5S valued at $750 was stolen from a kiosk at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, sometime around 4:48 p.m. July 17.

11$254.71 worth of meat was stolen from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, by a male subject at approximately 8 p.m. July 18.

12 There was $165.95 in clothing and shoes taken from Burlington Coat Factory, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 12:10 p.m. July 19. The alleged thief was caught, arrested, and admitted to the crime.

13A laptop valued at $300 was taken from a vehicle parked at Dennis' Towing Service, 13990 W. Lisbon Road, sometime between midnight and 11 a.m. July 20.

14A 2009 silver Mercury Sable was stolen from the Boston Store parking lot, 15875 W. Bluemound Road sometime around 1 p.m. July 20.

Impaired driving

15A 33 year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at 2:12 a.m. July 17 at W. Bluemound Road and Thomas Lane.

16A 72 year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at 1:45 a.m. July 19 at W. Capitol Drive and N. Calhoun Road.

17A 67 year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving at 6:02 p.m. July 19 at W. Capitol Drive and N. Barker Road.

Other

18A 20-year-old man was arrested for municipal trespassing and underage alcohol after entering a residence in the 15300 block of Santa Maria Drive at approximately 7 a.m. July 20. He entered through an unlocked garage service door and then an unlocked door to the house. The complainant stated that when confronted the intruder made no sense. The man was later arrested at Pomona and Woodbridge roads.

TOWN OF BROOKFIELD

Theft

19A Samsung Galaxy S-3 phone valued at approximately $600 was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence in the 20500 block of Bowling Green Drive sometime between 3 and 8:30 a.m. July 13.

20Credit cards and $150 in cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Parklawn Court during the night of July 12 or early morning hours of July 13.

Impaired driving

21A 34 year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at approximately 12:44 a.m. July 17 at Watertown Road and Doral Road.

22A 31 year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at 1:15 a.m. July 17 at Springdale Road and Mayrose Blvd.

VILLAGE OF ELM GROVE

Theft

23A credit card and cash were stolen from employees' purses at Pilgrim Middle School, 1500 Pilgrim Parkway, during the school day on July 16. An employee of Pilgrim Middle School was later arrested after using the stolen credit card. The employee was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and oxycodone pills.

24Over $5,000 was stolen from a checking account after a male is believed to have been stealing checks and forging already-written checks by changing the amounts. The complainant stated the thefts have taken place over the last few months. The suspect, a family friend, was arrested at 9:07 a.m. July 18 at a residence in the 14200 block of Hillside Road.
