On Dec. 19, the students put on their annual Christmas concert. The Rev. Ken Knippel opened the concert with a prayer. The school's music instructor, Jared Ziegler, led the students as they sang. Ziegler, an accomplished musician, wrote several of the songs the students performed and played guitar accompaniment for some selections. Many traditional Christmas songs were included in the performance. Between songs, the band and string orchestra played holiday songs and several students shared their favorite Christmas memories in the form of short and entertaining stories. A performance by the teachers and staff rounded out the evening. The teachers, as well as other school and parish staff, sang and danced to "Jingle Bell Rock."
