BURGLARY

1Jewelry and silver coins of undetermined value were taken from a home in the 17100 block of Bay Court on Jan. 21. The front door was broken in and a master bedroom window was broken.

THEFT

2A 16-year-old boy was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 12:28 p.m. Jan. 13. The value of the items was not available.

3A 16-year-old girl was arrested for retail theft at Claire's at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, after taking $50 worth of merchandise from the store at 7:28 p.m. Jan. 14.

4A woman stole a carton of cigarettes worth $66 from a store at 3960 N. Brookfield Road at 4:43 p.m. Jan. 15 and fled in a waiting vehicle.

5About $500 was taken from a home in the 3100 block of Burlawn Parkway on Jan. 15. The incident was reported Jan. 16; an acquaintance of the family is suspected.

6A wallet was stolen from a customer dining at Subway, 3920 N. Brookfield Road between 1 and 1:23 p.m. Jan. 16.

11A 47-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after taking a bottle of cologne from Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, at 3:26 p.m. Jan. 17. The value of the cologne was not available.

12A 49-year-old man was arrested for retail theft after taking "a whole lot of earrings" from Claire's at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 18. The value of the earrings was not available.

13A 59-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Piggly Wiggly, 2315 N. 124th St., at 10:14 a.m. Jan. 19. The value of the items was not available.

14A 48-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at JC Penney at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 19. The value of the items was not available.

15A purse was removed from a shopping cart at Target, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, between 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 20.

16Tires worth $1,200 were taken cars parked at Soren's Ford, 18900 W. Capitol Drive, Jan. 20. The incident was reported Jan. 21.

17A 14-year-old boy was arrested for felony possession of controlled narcotics at Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, at 10:38 a.m. Jan. 15.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

18A 26-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Moorland Road and Greenfield Avenue at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 13. His blood-alcohol content was not available.

19A 55-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Betsy Ross Court and Independence Drive at 3:43 p.m. Jan. 16. His BAC was not available.

20A 24-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at the railroad crossing on Pilgrim Road at 1:02 a.m. Jan. 17. His BAC was 0.15.

21A 37-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at Bluemound and Elm Grove roads at 2:07 a.m. Jan. 17. His BAC was 0.27.

22A 53-year-old man was cited for drunken driving, third offense, in the 12400 block of James Street at 11:04 p.m. Jan. 18. His BAC was not available.

OTHER

23A 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were seen by police engaging in "adult activities" in a car parked at Sears, 115 S. Moorland Road, at 9:57 p.m. Jan. 14.

Police responded to three calls related to domestic disputes last week.

THEFT

24A 52-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 53-year-old Milwaukee woman were cited for retail theft for taking $200 worth of clothing from River Boutique and Yarn, 18900 W. Bluemound Road, at 1 p.m. Jan. 9.

25A diaper bag containing diapers, baby wipes and a child's toy were taken from a locked vehicle at Chuck E. Cheese's, 19125 W. Bluemound Road, at 8:55 p.m. Jan. 10.

26Two males were seen taking $500 worth of scrap metal from a trash bin in the 19700 block of Sommer Drive at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 15.

27An MP3 player worth $300 was taken from a locked vehicle at Majestic Cinemas, 770 Springdale Road, between 10 and 11:55 p.m. Jan. 19. The driver-side window was broken to gain access, causing $200 in damage.

DRUG POSSESSION

28A 41-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drug possession and paraphernalia possession during a traffic stop at Barker Road and Larkspur Drive at 1:19 a.m. Jan. 18.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

29A 24-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for drunken driving at Parklawn and Abbott drives at 2:14 a.m. Jan. 18. Her BAC was 0.18.

OTHER

30A 64-year-old man called in a threat to come into Best Buy, 19555 W. Bluemound Road, with a gun at 6 p.m. Jan. 16. Police made contact with the man, who said he made the threats because he was unhappy with the customer service he received from Best Buy over the phone. Police counseled the man about his behavior after the man said he did not really plan on coming to the store with a gun; he was not arrested or cited.

THEFT

31A concrete lion statue worth $100 was taken from a yard in the 1100 block of Terrace Drive between 3 p.m. Jan. 18 and 2:55 p.m. Jan. 20. The incident was reported Jan. 20.
