1Golf clubs, golf equipment and a bike were taken from an unlocked garage in the 19200 block of Ashbourne Lane before 2:45 p.m. Sept. 13. Loss is estimated at $2,900.
2Jewelry valued at $10,000 was taken from a home in the 900 block of Egan Road before 11:34 p.m. Sept. 14. Access was gained by smashing a patio window.
THEFT
3A purse containing a wallet was taken from a vehicle in the 3100 block of Mitchell Park Drive before 1:34 p.m. Sept. 12. Access was gained by smashing a window. A credit card inside the purse was later used at several stores.
4A portable media player was taken from a vehicle in the 17200 block of West Capitol Drive before 3:35 p.m. Sept. 12. Access was gained by smashing a window.
5Numerous bottles of alcohol were taken at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, about 4:28 p.m. Sept. 12.
6A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking $200 worth of clothing from The Buckle at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 8:46 p.m. Sept. 12.
7Between $10 and $15 in change was taken from a vehicle in the 2900 block of Applewood Court before 12:59 p.m. Sept. 13.
8A $60 gas drive-off was reported at Mobil, 14035 W. Capitol Drive, at 2:20 p.m. Sept. 13.
9Clothing valued at $573 was taken at TJ Maxx, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 3:26 p.m. Sept. 13. Surveillance video is being reviewed.
10A purse was taken from a vehicle in the 14400 block of West Greenfield Avenue before 4:54 p.m. Sept. 13. Access was gained by smashing a window.
11A laptop and carrying case were taken from a vehicle in the 14800 block of West Woodland Place before 8:52 a.m. Sept. 15.
12Jewelry valued at $34,000 was taken from a locked vehicle in the 16600 block of Lake Circle before 3:44 p.m. Sept. 15. Access was gained by damaging a locked window.
VANDALISM
13Windows were smashed on two vehicles in the 14400 block of West Greenfield Avenue before 4:54 p.m. Sept. 13.
14A mailbox was knocked off its post and damaged in the 18800 block of Lothmoor Drive before 11:44 a.m. Sept. 15.
15A window was smashed on a vehicle in the 14800 block of Woodland Court before 12:11 p.m. Sept. 15.

THEFT
16A CD player valued at $150 was taken from a vehicle in the 21600 block of Doral Road before 6:34 p.m. Sept. 5. Access was gained by damaging stripping around windows and prying open a door.
17A blanket and window valued at $550 were taken at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 6.
18A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking $245 worth of merchandise at Kmart, 18200 W. Bluemound Road, at 1:47 p.m. Sept. 7. Items, taken over a period of time, included cosmetics, DVDs, assorted sundries and candy. The woman was an employee at the store at the time of the offenses.
19A catalytic converter valued at $1,900 was taken off a vehicle outside Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, before 4:31 p.m. Sept. 12.
20A videogame system and accessories and a portable media player valued at $725 were taken from a vehicle in the 19500 block of West Bluemound Road before 10:26 a.m. Sept. 16.
DRUG POSSESSION
21A 51-year-old Girard, Pa., man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Hampton Inn, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 10:18 p.m. Sept. 14.
OTHER
22A 23-year-old Omaha, Neb., man was arrested for causing a disturbance at 7-Eleven, 19600 W. Bluemound Road, at 9:42 p.m. Sept. 9. The man engaged in an argument with another customer over use of the store's men's room.

THEFT
23A catalytic converter valued at $650 was taken from a vehicle in the 12400 block of West Bluemound Road before 5:17 p.m. Sept. 14.
VANDALISM
24Two Brookfield girls and a Wauwatosa girl, all 17, were arrested for placing a deer carcass under a vehicle and damaging greenery in the 1100 block of Terrace Drive at 10:55 p.m. Sept. 15.
OTHER
25Police responded to a complaint between two neighbors in the 12500 block of Wrayburn Road at 5:11 p.m. Sept. 12. A woman removed a row of wildflowers, deeming them weeds, even though the vegetation was beyond her property. No citations were issued.
