Western Racquet Club Junior Tennis Update
WRC had several outstanding performances in the WI Indoor Championships, a Level 4 Midwest Tournament hosted by various venues throughout the state. Leading the charge was 11 year old Robert Krill, who not only won the 12 and Under Singles Championship, but was awarded the Sportsmanship Award as well.
WRC member Kai Sane also had an outstanding 12 and Under Tournament finishing 3rd in Singles and 2nd in Doubles.
Other WRC juniors who competed included:
• Sarah Woods in Girls’ 18
• Caroline Treis (singles) and Brooke Skemp and Simone Hussussian (doubles) in Girls' 16
• Michael Treis and Andrew Hwang in Boys’ 18
• Tim Corwin (quarterfinalist) and Felix Corwin in Boys’ 16
• Doug Francken and Jack Collison in Boys’ 14
• Anand Saluja in Boys’ 12
• Jonathan Sadowski in Boys’ 10
• Akshay Saluja in Boys’ 10
Congratulations to Tyler Kendler who won the Boys’ 14 Lincolnshire Challenger.
This past weekend, Jack Collison won the Championship in the Boys’ 14 Racine Open Tournament.
