St. Mary's Visitation Class of 2012 Becomes 153rd Graduating Class for Elm Grove Grade School

Forty-five eighth grade students graduated from St. Mary's Visitation School last Friday, June 1, during a special service held in the parish church. The class of 2012 is the 153rd class to graduate from the Elm Grove grade school.
Several students were recognized with scholarships and awards. Molly Carrig received the Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger Scholarship Award, and Craig Lundeen received the Mother Caroline Friess Scholarship Award, named for the founders of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. These $2000 scholarships are awarded for commitment exemplified by academic excellence, extra curricular activities, leadership, integrity and behaviors that bear witness to the Gospel message. Francesca Ragonese received the John Hochhaus Award for excellence in the St. Mary's forensics program, academic performance and leadership. Jessa Hanson and Jeromy Schultz were awarded the Fred Vetter Athletic Award for excellence in athletics, sportsmanship and leadership.
SMV graduates included Alexandra Ahrens, Steven Albright, Sam Aspinwall, Emily Berens, Darren Block, Margaret Carrig, Riley DeMeulenaere, Anne Ertz, Stephanie Fuller, Alexander Giampietro, Paul Grum, Jessa Hansen, Erin Jaynes, Erin Kreul, Louise Kiekhofer, Mary Lacey, Aiden Lafferty, Maureen LaMarche, Craig Lundeen, Eileen Magnor, Meghan Malloy, Kaitlyn McGuire, Neil McLinden, Madeline Mihm, Megan Misiewicz, Luke Moyer, Matthew Nakata, Margaret Novotny, Katy Olson, Noah Propp, Isabel Pesci, William Puchner, Francesca Ragonese, Alexis Richardson, Danny Royston, Jeromy Schultz, Jack Spaltholz, Nathan Sobczak, Hannah Stewart, Emma Stoiber, Moira Sullivan, Bridget Trimble, Madeline Wabiszewski, Heather Wehse and Emme Wiederhold.
