Bakers Square Restaurants Make Supporting Local Kids as Easy as Pie

(Milwaukee) Nov. 11, 2009 -- During this holiday season, pie lovers can spread goodwill thanks to local Bakers Square Restaurants.

For whole pies purchased at any of the four Milwaukee-area Bakers Square Restaurants between Nov. 21 – Dec. 1 (five days before and five days after Thanksgiving); and then again from Dec. 20 – Dec. 30 (five days before and five days after Christmas), Bakers Square will donate $1 to Boys Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee when customers present a special coupon. The more pies purchased, the more Baker Square will give to the youth serving agency.

Coupons can be downloaded at www.boysgirlsclubs.org. Bakers Square Pies can be pre-ordered on its Web site at www.bakerssquare.com, over the phone or in store. Milwaukee-area Bakers Square locations include:

• 1305 East Capitol Dr., Shorewood (414) 963-9880‎

• 10200 West National Ave., West Allis (414) 546-1220‎

• 4900 South 76th St., Greenfield (414) 282-0141‎

• 15300 Bluemound Rd., Elm Grove (262) 784-8912

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is the oldest and largest youth-serving agency in Milwaukee. It offers after-school and summer programming for children ages 6-18, focusing on those who have major life obstacles, most often poverty. The Clubs operates 38 sites, which include six primary locations, 30 school sites, Camp Whitcomb/Mason in Hartland and an extension site at the Ethan Allen School for Boys in Wales. Membership to the Clubs is only $5 per year, per child, but no one is ever turned away based on inability to pay. For more information, visit the Club’s Web site at www.boysgirlsclubs.org.
